Wednesday Early Morning 8am - 9.30am Astanga Yoga for Beginners*
A led class, suitable for newcomers willing to take it gently and give it a go! The class includes a selection of postures from the Astanga Primary Series (and a few other postures thrown in!) You will practice pranayama (breathing); sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures, finishing postures, and relaxation. An energetic and energising class that increases strength and flexibility whilst also stilling the mind.

Wednesday 10am -11am Gentle Yoga with Yoga Nidra
A class suitable for ALL people of ALL ages and abilities comprising gentle yoga stretches, and Yoga Nidra - a profoundly relaxing and rejuvenating guided meditation. With a strong emphasis on breath-work, meditation, mindfulness, and having fun, this class is suitable for most people, but is particularly suited to people who are not especially fit, strugggling with mental health problems, in recovery from addictions, PTSD sufferers, older people, and women going through the menopause.
Thursday 9.30-10.30am Vinyasa Yoga
A vibrant, energetic class based very loosely around the Astanga yoga Primary series but with less structure and a softer, more playful approach. Each class includes some pranayama (breathing exercises); sun salutations; standing postures; seated postures; and time for meditation, or guided relaxation. A down-to earth, vibrant, energising, class for mixed abilities.
Mats, Blocks and Blankets are provided to use, or feel free to bring your own. No need to book, it's okay to just drop in, but please be on time, as classes start promptly and it is often necessary to lock the door to the building when the class starts. Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the classes.
